Review of Once Upon a Polish Arabian Nights

Today I will be showing you Arabian Nights by Once Upon a Polish.  Arabian Nights has a shimmery purple base with tiny purple hex glitter, small gold square glitter, and medium purple hex glitter.  I didn't have to fish for any glitter, it was just there and ready to go on the nail. I didn't have any trouble with streaky or bald spots and dry time was good. Here are the pictures for you:

Here is a bottle shot so you can see all the lovely glitters!

Here it is on the thumb with 2 semi thick coats. You can see there is pretty even glitter everywhere.  If you like purple and glitter this is definitely a polish you need in your collection :)

Index finger 1 coat, middle 2 coats, ring 3 coats, pinkie 4 coats.

For me 2 to 3 coats is sufficient and looks great.

Here is where you can find Once Upon a Time's lovely creations:   Facebook or their shop on etsy.

I hope you enjoyed this post and come back again soon.  Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know who might be looking :)

Review of Elemental Styles Fool's Gold

Today I will be reviewing Fool's Gold by Elemental Styles.  I have to say this is really my absolute favorite one of her polishes! Fool's Gold has a clear but slightly champagne colored base with gold iridescent micro flakies, micro gold iridescent glitter, tiny gold iridescent glitter, and small/medium gold iridescent hex glitter.  You can wear this over another color to jazz it up or you can do like I do and wear it alone. Either way looks amazing. There was no fishing for glitter with this polish. It didn't run or drip, there was no dragging or bald spots, and dry time is amazing. So enough with all the talk here are the pictures!

There's a bottle shot of all the gold and iridescent goodness! I love love love it!

This is 2 thick coats on my thumb. There's glitter everywhere! I didn't have to fight with it to put it here or there. It just went!

Here are all the fingers! Index 4 coats, middle 3 coats, ring 2 coats, pinkie 1 coat.

For me I like to go with 2 or 3 coats.

Another thumb shot, still 2 coats. But look at that sparkle!

Here it is with the bottle!

Mentality Nail Polish in Fervor Review

Well since everyone else is posting away about this freaking AMAZING brand I will too even though I had to order the rest of them after I got the first one :) don't judge LOL. This is for Mentality Nail Polish in Fervor.  Fervor is an amazing lavender linear holographic that in some light has a scattered holographic look as well. This is definitely one of my favorite buys of the whole year. This polish is afreakingmazing. It went on like a dream, 2 coats and it was good to go. No dragging, no dripping, no issues at all. Dried like a champ. It's just gorgeous! It even looks good in shadowy light, gives off a super sparkly fuchsia/blue look. I absolutely had to get the rest of them to see if they are as great, because even if they are only half as good they will still be EPIC. So here it is :)

DDDRRROOOOLLLL worthy bottle shot :)

But wait it gets better!

Look at how pretty this is! (PLEASE excuse the little glitter there that apparently liked me too much to leave)

Here we have it on all the fingers, it's just so sparkly and beautiful! I actually had to take it off because I couldn't stop staring at my fingers and my Hubby was getting irritated :)

Here's a good capture of the linear effect.

It's just so awesome! I love love love this polish!

Here you can really see the fuchsia/blue glitter effect I mentioned.

And down here you can see the linear holographic effect. Just a little change of light.

If you would like to find (stalk) Mentality Nail Polish here are some places to do so: Facebook, bigcartel, or etsy.

I hope you all enjoyed this post as much as I did, and you come back again soon for some new nail news. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know who might be looking :)

Review of SmittenPolish Bluebird

Today I will be reviewing Bluebird by SmittenPolish.  Bluebird has a lovely taupe base with micro blue and teal glitter, and medium blue and teal iridescent glitter. It's a really contrasting and fun color combination.  This was my first "brown" based polish, and I freaking love it. I really haven't seen very many others, which is kinda sad, but this is definitely my favorite of the ones I have seen.  I didn't have to fish glitter out. No drag marks or bald spots. No dripping or running. Dry time was great. I love it! So here are the pictures that you are looking for!

This is an upclose of the thumb with 2 thick coats. And this is very color accurate.

Here is a bottle shot, that shows you all of the great glitter that is in this wonderful polish.  This is not very color accurate for the base color, though, for some reason the color washed out in this picture. But the on the nail pictures are very color accurate.

Here's another shot of the thumb from a little farther away. Still 2 coats.

Here are all the fingers: Index 4 coats, middle 3 coats, ring 2 coats, pinkie 1 coat.

For me 3 coats is plenty, I wore it with only 2 coats and was very happy with it.

Here they all are again with the bottle.

You can find SmittenPolish here:
Facebook or on etsy.

Hope you all enjoyed this and come back again soon for more! Have a wonderful day and don't forget to smile, you never know whose looking :)

Review of Pretty and Polished Fun Haus, Wherever You Go, I Virgo, Daddy's Girl, Boot Camp, and Party On My Yacht!

Today I will be showing you a few lovely creations made by Pretty & Polished. I have Fun Haus, Wherever You Go, I Virgo, Daddy's Girl, Boot Camp, and Party on My Yacht in store for you. I will start out the "fun" with Fun Haus, this is the perfect blush pink with holographic sparkles. I did not have any problems with application, no dripping, dragging, or anything else. It went on wonderfully with only 2 coats, but I put on a 3rd just to be safe. I wore this to work (I am a Certified Nursing Assistant which = hand washing millions of time) for a 12 hour shift and then did the dishes the next day with very few chips, which in my book says a lot. So without further ado here it is:

Here is a bottle shot of this pink beauty! Look at that sparkle!

Here it is on my thumb with 3 coats worth of loveliness! (don't mind the little nic there, that just shows how impatient I am LOL)

Also, these pictures were taken after the 12 hour shift and the dish washing. I took pics before and they got deleted or something.

Here it is on all fingers in the normal lighting of my house. You can see the holographic sparkles a little bit.

And here it is in the sun where you can really see the holographic greatness!

And another in the shade. Where you can see even without the awesome holographic sparkles it's still a very beautiful color!

Next up is Wherever You Go, I Virgo. This has a white milky base with varying sizes of glitters in turquoise, light blue, and iridescent silver. I have 3 coats on to get this color and depth. I really love this polish! The colors look so good together.

Here are the fingers. And you can see all the different little glitters in there. I love how it contrasts but doesn't stand out completely. It's different but professional at the same time.

Understated yet gorgeous.

Did I mention I freaking love this color? Well I do!

Next up is Daddy's Girl. This polish has a light jelly blue base with micro matte purple, matte light pink, and metallic turquoise; along with medium hexes in matte pink, light blue, light metallic pink, light metallic purple, and light pink hearts. I did not have any issues with this polish. Of course it was a challenge to get a heart on the nail, but that is the same with all shaped glitter, so nothing new there. Such a pretty polish and definitely one for those of us out there who are Daddy's Girls :)

Here is the thumb shot, and I have this on with 3 coats. Here you can see the different colors in the jelly blue base.

The pink and turquoise really stand out and make this polish pop!

Here are all the fingers and as you can see I did get one heart on my index finger :)

Love this polish and not just because of the name, which is why I originally bought it, but the colors that were put together here and the way the go together is just amazing.

Next is Boot Camp. This polish dries with a matte finish, which looks super cool. This has a very shimmery grass green base with black bar glitter, dark brown iridescent glitters in multiple sizes, and green hex and square glitter. This is a very neat color. The glitter in this one was a little more difficult to get onto the nail. There was a little fishing and bottle shaking with this one, but nothing major. And it was definitely worth it for the end result. I have 3 coats on.

I did put a clear coat over it on my middle finger so you could see the difference.

Here's an up close thumb shot, to show you the different glitter and shapes. You can see the matte finish well here too and all the shimmer in the base.

Here's a bottle shot. And those glitter that look kind of red are really more of an iridescent brown. Very pretty. I really like the brown glitter.

And here are all the fingers again with the bottle. This is a very contrasting and different polish. I can't say that I've seen anything even remotely close to it :)

Now, last but definitely not least Party On My Yacht. This polish has a milky white base with green, gold, purple, and fuchsia mini metallic glitter hexes, along with some mini turquoise bar glitter. It's a super fun polish that I am so glad I finally got!  I didn't have any application issues with this polish at all. It went on like a dream in 2 coats.

Here's a bottle shot so you can see all the glitters spread out everywhere in there.

Up close of the thumb. Perfect application with different colors everywhere and one of the super cute little mini bars in there too!

I little further away and it still looks great.

Here are the rest of the fingers and you can see that they all look great! Plus there's another mini bar on my ring finger :)

And all the fingers with the bottle! Love this polish :)

Review of Pahlish Toxic & Timeless, and Ace of Fours

Here I have a review and swatches of Toxic and Timeless, and Ace of Fours by Pahlish.  I will start with Toxic and Timeless, it has a grass green jelly base with green and blue bar glitter; small green, gold, and iridescent hex glitter, iridescent micro glitter, medium blue hex glitter, and large green and gold hex glitter. I had absolutely no problems with application, it was simple as pie, no fishing for glitter.  I didn't have any "bald" spots or drag marks, no dripping or running, and dry time was great. I love this polish it was one of my first actual jelly base polishes and it definitely made me want to try out others. So here it is:

Now I will let you know that there was a little curling with some of the bar glitter, nothing major but I did want to put it out there: in the bottom left hand corner there is a green bar that is curled and managed to lay on it's side. Nothing that I couldn't work with. And I do actually believe that the formula was reworked on this one to eliminate the curling glitters, but for me, I love this one version slight curls and all.

You really can barely see it in the pictures. It's the lower right hand corner in this one.  OKAY, now curling aside LOOK at this amazing close up! Fabulous!

Here it is again and this is only 2 coats by the way. Look at all the glitter in there! I love it!

All the fingers! Index 4 coats, middle 3 coats, ring 2 coats, and pinkie 1 coat. Honestly I am happy with 2-3 coats. But the more coats the more depth. So really it's up to you :)

Here they all are again.

Next up I have Ace of Fours for you, this polish has a milky light blue base with multiple blue tiny and micro glitters with some pink undertone sparkles in there as well. It's a super pretty and super fun color. I did not have any application issues with this polish at all, and dry time was great. So here it is:

The bottle shot! Look at all that stuff in there!!!

Up close on the thumb you can really see all kinds of different stuff going on, it's so PRETTY!! I'm biased I love blues :)

Here's the thumb again, and guess what, still amazing from a distance :) I have 3 coats of Ace of Fours on in these pictures.

Here are the rest of the fingers, looking just as amazing as the rest :)

Facebook or on etsy.
